NREL Propane Fueling Stations
The data in the Alternative Fueling Station dataset are gathered and verified through a variety of methods. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) obtains information about new stations from trade media, Clean Cities coordinators, the Submit New Station form on the Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC) website, and through collaborating with infrastructure equipment and fuel providers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and industry groups.

A description of other station access information.
An array of strings enumerating the station's accepted payment methods.
The date the station's details were last confirmed.
For planned stations, the date the station is expected to open or start carrying alternative fuel. For temporarily unavailable stations, the expected date is the date the station is expected to reopen. This date is estimated but not guaranteed.
Unique NREL station identifier.
The date that the station began offering the fuel. Please note that most LPG (propane) stations do not have open dates. Some open dates are approximate. Also note that some electric station records that are imported to the Station Locator do not have open dates. The type of organization that owns the fueling infrastructure.
The current status of the station.
The name of the station.
The phone number of the station.
The time the station's details were last updated.
The type of facility at which the station is located.
A rating indicating the approximate accuracy of the latitude and longitude for the station's address.
The street address of the station's location.
The city of the station's location.
The two character code for the U.S. state or Canadian province/territory of the station's location.
The zip code (postal code) of the station's location.
The plus-4 portion of the station's ZIP code (U.S. ZIP codes only).
The two character country code of the station's location.
Brief additional information about how to locate the station.
If the station is owned by a federal agency, the federal agency that owns this station.
